Interests... Where to begin... I'm interested in a lot of things, but I'll try to keep it short. (No I won't.) I'm really inspired by the aethetics of Nintendo games, as well as nature and animals. I really like crafty looks, with paper scissors and all sorts of fun doo-dads. As I said before, I really like animals, especially learning about them. So it's not a surprise one of my favorite things ever is Kemono Friends. It showcases animals as girls, (called friends) but still showcases behaviors and traits that animal would have! I also quite like the design standpoints within the looks of each friend.

I'm inspired by all sorts of things, but I think it all goes back to childhood memories. Children's books, papercrafts, and toys really inspire me a lot. There's something that's just so fun about them, and it makes me want to create things similar to that. Underneath all of this I'll put some images or artists that inspire me.

Kikuchi Milo/Kona_Milo

Kikuchi Milo is one of my favorite artists on the net! If you couldn't tell, they do a lot of fanart for Kemono Friends, and have even done official art for them! I love the patterned paper look their art has, and it's amazing how it's all digital! It really inspires me because of how cute and pleasing all the colors and patterns are. Speaking of the paper patterns, they make them themselves! The way they simplify everything is something I love, and the textures make it feel so soft and sweet.
════════════════════════════════ Shigehisa Nakaue
Shigehisa Nakaue is the primary 2D artist for the Super Mario Franchise right now and I love him for it!! All of his artwork is so amazing and fun to look at. The bold lines, simple shading, and shape language comes together really well. Mario is an iconic character, and Shigehisa captures him amazingly. There's something so playful, yet still very clean about his art.
════════════════════════════════ Masanori Sato
While Masanori Sato has done other incredible illustrations, (seriously check out his Instagram his art is amazing.) I most know him for his illustration work at Nintendo. The way he paints and the texturing within all of his works is great! The way he designed Mario & Luigi are so similar, yet so different from how we usually see them. His art has a sense of "cool" to me, and the way he uses colors make them look so soft. If you haven't checked out his stuff, please do!
