While some images are digital pieces, I like to use markers and paper the most. Usually I use Ohuhu Alcohol Markers, or Posca Paint Markers, though I have also dabbled in painting. A lot of my work has collage elements to it, and I find it the most fun way to work. Each piece is listed in chronological order of when I made them. This is not all my art, just ones I think stand out and are worth looking at. |
This was a Christmas present for my grandpa! It's a collage recreating a picture I had took on a trip with him at the Grand Tetons. This somewhat signifies when I started using shapes and color better, so I'm still quite proud of it.
Another gift for my other grandparents, this time being the view of my backyard. I started making plaid patterns here, and focused more on my marker strokes and how it affects the color.
A digital artpiece that I just kinda like. I usually use incredibly saturated colors, so this was the first time I really ventured into more desaturated tones. Same thing with drawing a somewhat back 3/4ths view.
This piece I wanted to focus on big shapes with fun, simple texturing! Making it all simple, but still looking whimsical.
This was a gift for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day! I really like the subtle gradient I did, and the hard contrast is fun. Obviously it's inspired by the silhouette levels from Donkey Kong.
This was for a class project where we had to design a logo for a brand. There's a lot more artwork I made for this, but I decided to showcase a poster design for the fake brand. This was a vector project!
